Current Events
For my technology current event, I chose and article that probably won't be very interesting to people with iPhones, but to people with blackberry and/or Galaxy phones. The company Samsung, the creator of the Galaxy phones has created a new feature on Blackberry phones as well as Samsung phones. This feature, called Knox, will allow people to keep their business and work separate. This is predicted to be very popular will teenage users, as more schools are following the "bring your own device" rule. This feature will allow kids to play and use social media and keep that separate from all the work they do in school.
I also read another article, where the company Pepsi gave out 4,500 to workers whose job it is to check the shelves and make sure their product is stored and displayed correctly. This would not be very unusual, if these were workers who are managers or salespeople. But it seems uncommon that iPhones would be given to people who check shelves.Everything they needed would be loaded onto the iPhone so they would know how to do their job right. Personally, I think it's ridiculous to give an iPhone to someone whose job it is to look at shelves. I think their money would've been more well spent on marketing or sales pitches, not shelf checkers. These were my two current event articles on technology.

Hot Weather, Cool Water
One of my favorite trips I've ever been on was my cruise around the Caribbean. For seven days, I was on a cruise ship with my brother and parents, and it's the best trip I've ever been on. We sailed to the Grand Cayman Islands, Mexico, Belize, and Isle Roatan. I was in sixth grade and the trip was so memorable because the weather was beautiful. Think crystal clear waters and 90 degree temperatures every day. I was in heaven. I was nervous at first going on that trip, because I get nervous about boats a lot, but you couldn't even tell you were on a ship. My brother and I were surprised when we looked outside and saw that we were moving, because it didn't feel like we were at all. I was disappointed when we had to come home on that Sunday, because I had made so many new friends, some that even live in the next town over from where I live. That cruise was the best trip I've ever taken and I would go back anytime.

W@n+, N3ed, L0v3
I don't really know what to write about, so I'm just going to say what I've been obsessed with lately. There's an app called Wanelo. It stands for want, need, love. You sign up and it shows you things you might like to buy. You can save these items and buy them later, so it's kind of like pinterest, and you can buy whatever you want. Personally, this app is addicting. I'm always on it. You can also follow your friends and see what they save and buy, and you can even buy things for them, but you'll probably want to buy it for yourself because it's amazing. So yeah. Check it out. :)
Computer Apps Blog
Hi. This is a blog for my Computer Apps class. We use this blog to connect with other students about the things we like to do and our interests. So far we've done a couple assignments, and they weren't too bad. We learned all about how to use Microsoft word and using tools to enhance out various school projects and assignments. I think this class is going to help me more with school related things because now I know how to use tools on Microsoft word that I didn't know how to use before. Feel free to follow my blog :)
